Following the False God of Government

Greetings in the Name of Him Who Is Truth!


The government is not God. There is only one God and we are instructed in Deuteronomy 6:5, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy might." Jesus reiterated it in Mark 12:30 when he said, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all they soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment." So how is it in America that the citizens are allowing government to replace God? How is it that the collective citizenry in this nation is standing for the government to take care of all things for the people? How is it that we as a people have come so far away from God?

In the Senate confirmation hearings, we accept that the nominee Sonia Sotomeyor says that abortion is the law of the land. We accept that the man who occupies the Oval Office is demanding nationalized healthcare. We accept that the House of Representatives is attempting to rewrite the Constitution illegally by declaring that health care is a right and a responsibility of all Americans. We accept that the White House is considering spending billions of dollars to allow those who cannot pay their mortgages to accept government subsidies on their house payments, similar to unemployment compensation. We accept explanations that some jobs are permanently lost and the government must provide.

We accept that the government believes it can control the climate if we only pay higher prices for everything that we wear, eat, consume, drive and live in. We accept that the government will inspect private homes and require expensive renovations on energy updates before allowing the home to be sold. We accept that the government can spend trillions of our present and future hard earned dollars to enact programs that benefit small groups of people. We accept that the White House can sign illegal treaties giving up our nation's defensive superiority to our enemies, or subjugating parental rights to the United Nations.

The corrupt and morally bankrupt politicians know they can get away with making government the personal god of Americans because Americans will no longer stand up and tell them "no." These people are on a rampage to "remake" America into a soulless, hopeless, amoral society that is easily manipulated and controlled. These godless people intend to ravage an entire nation of the wealth earned by the blood, sweat and tears of God-fearing generations who believed in the perfect Liberty of Christ and were willing to stand for it. Where are the Christian Americans? Where are those who love the freedom of God more than the tyranny of the false god?
