STAND FOR TRUTH
Be the voice that nobody else will be
Be the answer that someone could be looking for
Stand up for those
Who others won't
Stand up for those who need a friend
Speak out for those who are afraid.
Be the voice for those who cant speak
For those who are trembling in fear
Be the voice for those who wont
Speak for those who dont know
The love they could have
Speak to the hearts the love weve been given
Speak the words of grace and forgiveness
Just as our Father has done for us.
We all have a voice in this world
So why do we hurt each other?
So often we use our words to curse and to blame
When we should be encouraging and lifting up
Dont you know your words could heal?
Dont you know your prayers could save a life?
With His words God spoke the world into motion
With His words He spoke love and grace to our hearts
With one word He forgives us
His last words spoken
Meant the victory over death forever
Its time we use our voice for good.
The Armor of God
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
(Ephesians 6:10-18 NIV)
