Once More and I do
by Youth Pastor Tom Gnacke
A broken communion cup: The outpouring of blood covering everything. But everything left untouched. What looks like pain, emptiness. Is really beauty. A life has been poured out but has now been renewed and restored for glory. Jesus poured His life out; the world lost all hope. But 3 days later He rose again, people are saved. A new life has begun. Blood (communion juice) covering everything but instead of staining; everything was made new, sin was defeated, brokenness healed.
A perfect example of how God turns brokenness into beauty. If you are broken and hurting right now; if your life has been poured out. Thank God; your blessing is just about to come. Everything that has brought you pain will be your testimony of how Love changed your life. Every broken road youve traveled; every mistake youve made will be a testimony of how Grace saved you.
God can take what is broken and turn it into beauty. He can take pain and turn it into joy. He will take your ashes and make something new. He will replace your scars with love. Your sin and shame with Grace. Remember that His life was poured out but He never gave up. He felt pain but He never gave up. He saw sin face to face, He never gave up. He trusted in the plans of His Heavenly Father.
Keep going never give up.
He will take it all if you just surrender.
