How May We Know What is Right?
John Haynes Holmes
1. Pay reverent heed to the wisdom of the ages, more especially as it has been authenticated and glorifed by the great masters of right living.
2. Live in the open. Do only what you are willing should be done "in the sight of all men."
3. Live in humanity. Do only what you are willing that all men should do as a universal rule of conduct.
4. Eliminate yourself, and act only from disinterested motives.
TOUCH
*
Hold On.
*
A hold is a hug that hangs on. Sometimes, a warm embrace gives more help and healing than any wise advice you could offer or any wonder drug the doctor could order. Be sensitive to know when the situation calls for you to "zip the lip" and reach out your arms and hold a love one.
